The Admirals Arms
This historic 2-storey hotel obtained its first liquor licence in the gold rush days of 1872. Known then as the "Golconda Hotel," in 1975 it became known as the "Golconda Tavern." In 1998 the hotel was renamed the "Admirals Arms Hotel." Facilities include: pool tables, dart boards, juke box, Playstation 2, Sky TV, gaming machines with $1000 jackpot and the only TAB in town. Most Friday nights we have live entertainment with great New Zealand bands.
The Bistro menu offers a selection of seafood, steak meals as well as snacks and nibbles.
